Dil Seh Dilli,Pune
Feels so amazing, how certain taste brings back the memories making you feel nostalgic. Heard of this small, cozy place in Baner called 'Dil seh Dilli' from a facebook eat outs group. Being a rover, cannot stop myself from heading here as soon as possible, the name itself brought hopes!
It was a cool evening, went to this place, the menu was amazing. Without even having second thoughts, I was well prepared for what to order. Living here in Pune for last 4 years, I haven't got to taste the Dilli wala chole kulche. As it was in this menu, I ordered in a go!, going through the menu, my eyes stuck on bedmi puri and aloo sabzi and I was like really!, ordered this as well. Then the owner told us about the thumbsup lassi,so we ordered one for two of us.
Where -Baner,Pune

They serve in traditional thalis and I loved the drinking glasses, somewhat reminded me of mythical stories. There came the food, bedmi puri and aloo sabzi was amazing, the taste was similar to the old Delhi version of it.Loved it!, the aloo sabzi was the same Delhi special 'bhandare wale aloo' taste, I was surprised & happy to find it in Pune.
Chole kulche were delicious as well but it was not the chole kulche I expected, I assumed them to be the matar chole and kulche but the chole were different, they were sort of 'chole bhatura' chole. I enjoyed every bite of what I took at this place. The thumbsup lassi was uniquely tasty, kind of tasted like soda in curd!

Next time I am going to try dal makhani at this place. For sure this place has been pinned on my taste buds and will be frequent a lot!
