Fuel Cafe,Pune

This place is spanned across two floors. The ground floor follows a productive trend of providing a little workplace to people,it works on you paying out money for their space and your time :) So,a startup with no office space,or a budding entrepreneurship can find this place quite helpful and creative. Their cafe is at first floor, colourful with playful vibes being felt as you enter. Where  -Vishal Nagar,Pune I went to this place with few of my friends when it was raining, personally I don't like to be IN rain, but just to watch it from window panes and wait for it to stop as soon as I go out :D, so we sat on window-side enjoying the view. As you enter you will see the place has lots of colourful chairs, beanbags, a lot of board games and of course food! We ordered chilli cheese poppers and alfredo pasta pizza.Starting with a game of jenga followed by lot of board games, we overall enjoyed this place. The poppers were tasty but I expected the cheese filling to be more ...

Crazy Cheesy,Pune

Excellent place for cheese lovers, great food at minimal price. I found this place via zomato. The ambience reminded me of college days, where we hunt for a great place which is easy on our pockets too! Where - I went to Sadashiv Peth branch, but there is another one at Tilak Road. The place was small & funky but creatively designed. The chairs, smiley light bulbs make you feel a little more vibrant. The menu was not a big one but had varieties. It was a fast food menu where we can sip coffee or coke with a slice of pizza or tikki.I went with a friend of mine who is equally curious to try things as I am. I got to sit on a chota bheem chair! We already had chaats and street food at FC Road but as we have to try this place out, we tried to order our favorite things! We ordered garlic bread and a small classic veggie pizza. There was so much cheese in Pizza which I loved, the base was crispy and mostly it reminded me of home-made pizza which is perfectly cooked. The garli...

Dil Seh Dilli,Pune

Feels so amazing, how certain taste brings back the memories making you feel nostalgic. Heard of this small, cozy place in Baner called 'Dil seh Dilli' from a facebook eat outs group. Being a rover, cannot stop myself from heading here as soon as possible, the name itself brought hopes! Where  -Baner,Pune It was a cool evening, went to this place, the menu was amazing. Without even having second thoughts, I was well prepared for what to order. Living here in Pune for last 4 years, I haven't got to taste the Dilli wala chole kulche. As it was in this menu, I ordered in a go!, going through the menu, my eyes stuck on bedmi puri and aloo sabzi and I was like really!, ordered this as well. Then the owner told us about the thumbsup lassi,so we ordered one for two of us. They serve in traditional thalis and I loved the drinking glasses, somewhat reminded me of mythical stories. There came the food, bedmi puri and aloo sabzi was amazing, the taste was similar to the old ...

Pagdandi,Pune

So,Here I am, with two of my friends at this uniquely conceptualized cafe. Pagdandi,Books Chai Cafe, as they say it is situated in mids of the hilly range in Baner. The atmosphere was nice and quiet with view of small city hills! Where  - Baner,Pune One of its kind library, where you can read, chat, snack on food and rewind old memories:) We liked the place, had to remove our  shoes outside but as there was already full inside,we shared the table at the outdoor seating area. The place was smelling a sweet tea-like s cent. There were books from various genres like Indian fiction, International fiction, story books, management books and much more. There were books on sale too. We all three chose one each and sat outside chirping on our sandwiches and sipping our drinks, being chai for them and hot chocolate for me! On the other table, people were sipping their chai on a game of chess.Various events like book-reading,open mic poetry nights and others frequent this pla...

Durga Cafe,Pune

So,Its 10:30 PM,you wish to have a good coffee, sit with your friends, enjoy the cold breeze, where would you head to? If you were a part of my Pune group, you would have probably said "Durga Cafe!", a very simple place with plastic chairs and stools spread across their outdoor seating area. Where - They have various branches in Pune, Aurangabad, Nagpur but in this post I am mentioning particularly about the one in Pimple Saudagar, Pune. They serve you good strong coffee with a lot of froth and chocolate powder on the top.You can also find finger food like Masala fries, sandwiches,Pau bhaji,Maggi etc. My taste buds liked cheese sandwich,Masala fries and cold coffee the most. But mind you,the coffee is strong enough to not let you sleep all night! :D For those who want a good night sleep as well, can have hot chocolate or cold Bournvita among various other drinks. What I like about the place is you can sit with friends, discuss & chat as long as you want(until i...

Punjabi Junction,Pune

Image
As Currently I am staying in Pune, sometimes my taste buds crave for North Indian food, searching for a plate to fulfill that craving, I reached this place :) Where - Pimple Saudagar,Pune The place has a typical smell of North Indian gravy. It has a lot of Punjabi quotes on the wall. For the saag lovers, the place serves sarso da saag, makke di roti and chaas as well. So coming to the food, garlic naan was really good, we also tried laccha paratha but I still miss the original laccha paratha with lot of layers. They also serve Amritsari kulcha and cholle bhature, which is nice and their specialty as well. The bhature were less oily. Well being a lover for original dal makhni taste, this place disappointed me but other gravies like kadai paneer and veg bhuna were well cooked, full of masala but satisfying. You can get cold drinks, chaas, lassi as a company for your food. The place is a little bit compact and thus there is waiting time but overall we liked the food ...
